SOCIETY OF THE HELPERS OF MARY
VOCATIONS
“What a great vocation is yours to be another Mary!” Mother Anna Huberta Roggendorf.
Society of the Helpers of Mary is a religious congregation founded by Mother Anna Huberta Roggendorf on 27 March 1942, in the Archdiocese of Mumbai, India

Our vision and mission are to take God’s love to our poor, voiceless sisters and brothers living in city slums and in the remotest villages of India, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Italy, where few dare to go.

Our motto LIVE FOR LOVE spurs us on to new challenges and to respond to the changing needs of a changing society.

Young girls with an inner inspiration for a life of service and consecration are welcome to the Society of the Helpers of Mary. Minimum qualification standard XII.
Come and See
Young girls who have a genuine interest in our way of life are invited to stay with us for a period of one year or more, to facilitate a better discernment in their vocational option to our Congregation. This period also enables them to acquire human and Christian formation, with opportunities for greater familiarity with the charism of the Congregation.
