HOME FOR THE SENIOR CITIZENS

In this complex there are 2 homes for the senior citizen with 50 beds each. Social workers, who work in remote areas, in slums direct the deserving cases to admit in the homes. Most of the elderly are paralysed, bed ridden, weak and feel lonely as their loved ones left them or unable to take care of them. They spent the evening of their lives in peace and joy.

HIV/AIDS AFFECTED CHILDREN

Keeping in mind the needs of the hour is to care for HIV/AIDS affected children.  Mukhta Jivan launched a Care Home for the HIV/AIDS affected orphans and semi-orphans. The first three children were admitted on the 5th of February 1999. This was the pilot project for the Institute. To educate them we have set up school in the premise so that they attend the regular school and be well versed in the field of education, which is upto 10th standard. Children are loved, cared and counseled by skilled and dedicated sisters and staff. They are taken for their regular check up to Sion Hospital in Mumbai. They are administered with their regular treatment as per their requirements.
