Khora is a place which is thickly populated. Around 10 lacs people live in this area. It is close to National Highway – 24, that touches the border of Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Noida. Anand Vihar is the closest railway station. Khora is an unauthorized colony of Uttar Pradesh. It belongs to Ghaziabad District. It comes under Lok Sabha election of Sahibabad. In Khoda almost all the families are migrated from different parts of India specially Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttaranchal and belonging to all religions. Here the Helpers of Mary plunged with great enthusiasm and zeal to cater to the needs of the poor and needy living in the slums. The centre was established in Khora Colony on 26th June 2007. Later the house was built and was blessed by Most Rev. Albert D’Souza Archbishop of Agra and inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Leela Sequeira the then Superior General on 3rd Oct 2009. The main purpose of this community is to empower the lives of the poor through education and social activities.
